BBC The Traitors Finalist | Motivational Speaker | Mental Health Advocate | Resilience & Mindset Coach | Founder of Strength In You Ltd
Andrew Jenkins first captured the nation’s attention as a finalist on the BBC’s hit reality series The Traitors — but his real story of resilience began long before television fame.
At just 21, Andrew was involved in a devastating car accident that left him clinically dead at the scene and in a coma for four weeks. Doctors told his family that if he survived, he would never walk, talk, or recognise loved ones again. Against all odds, Andrew defied every prediction, relearning to walk within weeks and rebuilding his life through sheer determination and belief.
A passionate rugby player growing up in Wales, Andrew’s accident ended his sporting dreams and left him struggling to rebuild his identity. Though his physical recovery was remarkable, the hardest battle he faced was with his mental health. For over two decades, he kept his struggles hidden — until recently deciding to share his story to inspire others and break the stigma around mental illness.
After years of reflection, self-development, and coaching, Andrew is now the founder of Strength In You Ltd, delivering motivational talks, corporate workshops, and resilience coaching for audiences across the UK. Drawing on his personal journey of trauma, recovery, and growth, he helps others rediscover purpose, build resilience, and believe that anything is possible with the right mindset.
Described by the doctor who saved his life as a “miracle patient,” Andrew now uses his second chance to help others facing adversity. His talks are authentic, emotional, and transformative, reminding audiences that true strength often comes from struggle.
