Vicki Blight is one of the UK’s most versatile and experienced broadcasters, presenting weekdays 10 am–2 pm on Virgin Radio Anthems UK and regularly covering national shows for Virgin Radio UK — home to Chris Evans at Breakfast and Graham Norton at the Weekends. She is also part of the Virgin Radio Pride presenting team, recently recording Quite A Queer Conversation with actress Rachel Shelley (The L Word), and hosted the Breakfast Show on Pride Vibes Radio in Ireland during its summer run.

In Wales, Vicki presents the Weekend Early Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Wales, contributes to the popular Football Phone-In Call Rob Phillips, and appears on BBC One Wales’ Wales Live, where she has presented impactful reports on Type 1 Diabetes, Mental Health, and Climate Change.

Previously a key presenter across the Absolute Radio network for six years, Vicki earned a Sony Radio Academy Award and has broadcast on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Heart, XFM, Galaxy, Century FM, and Red Dragon FM. Her voice can also be heard worldwide as the host of in-flight radio shows for Qatar Airways and Oman Air.

A Cardiff University Biochemistry graduate, Vicki began in student radio, winning Best Female Presenter at the Student Radio Awards 2002. She went on to co-produce and present the acclaimed Richard Parks: Antarctica podcast and co-hosts the science series Inside the Petri Dish.

An accomplished live event host, Vicki has fronted major events including The Diana Awards, BBC Horizons, the UEFA Champions League Final, Six Nations, Hard Rock Calling, Let’s Rock Festivals, and the Cardiff University Media Awards.

As an award-winning voiceover artist, she has voiced campaigns for Schwarzkopf, Kingsmill, Metro Bank, iTunes, Disney, and Spotify, and is one of the continuity voices of BBC One Wales, BBC Two Wales, and SyFy. Her narration work includes Secrets of the Garden and Channel 4’s Plastic and Proud, which won her Best Narration at the One Voice Awards 2018.

Passionate about health and advocacy, Vicki supports Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Diabetes UK Cymru, using her platform to raise awareness following her own Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. Named on the Western Mail’s Pinc List 2021as one of Wales’s most influential LGBTQ+ individuals, Vicki lives in Abergavenny with her wife Rachael and their children.
